Overview

NMS Group needed to transition from manual, periodic equipment checks to a connected, data-driven monitoring approach. Their existing infrastructure spanned multiple sites with heterogeneous machinery, and lacked any centralized visibility into equipment health or performance trends.

The Challenge

The main challenge was integrating sensors and gateways into legacy industrial equipment without disrupting production. Harsh environments, unreliable connectivity, and the absence of standardized data formats across machines required a resilient, adaptable architecture. Additionally, the operations team needed actionable dashboards - not raw data.

Our Solution

Ermit designed and deployed a modular sensor-to-cloud pipeline: custom edge gateways collect and normalize data from diverse sensors, transmit securely via MQTT/TLS, and feed a cloud platform with real-time dashboards, alerting, and historical analytics. The system was designed for incremental rollout - one production line at a time.
